Dr. J. Branch Kennon
Dentist
Dr. Kennon was born in Quitman, Georgia and grew up in Live Oak, Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate work and graduated from the Emory University School of Dentistry. After serving for three years in the U.S. Army, he moved to Panama City in 1972 to open his dental practice.
Dr. Kennon has been active in organized dentistry, serving as the president of the Bay County Dental Society and Northwest District Dental Association as well as serving as the district representative to the Florida Dental Association for several years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northwest District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a fellow in the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Kennon and his wife Pam have two sons, Jason who practices with him and Travis, who lives in Atlanta. They have 3 grandsons: Hunter, Ty, and Logan. Dr. Kennon enjoys golf, fishing, and college football.

Dr. Jason B. Kennon
Dentist
Dr. Jason B. Kennon has been a resident of Panama City for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Mosley High School, Gulf Coast Community College and University of Florida. He received his dental degree from Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. From there he joined the United States Army, where he has completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program and served in Germany and Iraq. In February of 2008 he moved back to Panama City to practice dentistry with his dad. He and his beautiful wife, Tina, are proud parents of two boys Hunter and Ty.
Dr. Kennon enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and golfing when he ever gets a chance.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, Northwest District Dental Association and the Bay County Dental Society.

Kim
Hygienist
Kim is a graduate of Bay High School, Gulf Coast Community College (Dental Assisting), and Pensacola Junior College (Dental Hygiene) in 1994. She is on the GCCC Dental Advisory Board. She has been working with Dr. Kennon since 1994. In her spare time she enjoys camping, running, and scrap booking and keeping up with her daughter, Emma. She truly enjoys helping people have better health through proper oral hygiene.

Debi E.
Hygienist
Debi attended Rutherford High School, GCCC (Dental Assisting), and Pensacola Junior College where she received her degree in dental hygiene in 1992. She was on the ADA Advisory Board (2001-05) and is currently on the GCCC Advisory Board. She joined the practice in 2000 and her skill, experience, and personality make her a very valuable asset. She especially enjoys traveling and shopping and bugging the rest of us.

Hygienist
Rene started out as Dr. Kennon’s dental assistant after finishing her training at GCCC in 1989. She subsequently received her degree in dental hygiene from Pensacola CC in 1993 and rejoined our practice in 2007. Her cheerful attitude and extensive knowledge and experience make her a great addition to our team. Rene enjoys baking, the beach, and tending to her family.

Debi A.
RDA / Receptionist
Debi has been involved in dentistry for 38 years and has been with Dr. Kennon since 1985. Debi is a graduate of North Hollywood High School, California, and Valley College of Dental Assistants in 1970. Debi is also a certified Dentrix dental software trainer. Her interests include swimming and spending time with family and friends and especially watching ice-skating. She works to see that our office runs efficiently and helps everyone decipher the mysteries of dental insurance.

Assistant
Heather is a proud new mom and has been with us since we built our new office in 1999. She is a 1995 graduate of Bay high school and a 1997 graduate of the Dental Assisting program at GCCC. She really enjoys people and her warm and friendly personality helps make her a great assistant. Her interest includes family, swimming, and decorating.

Assistant
Katie joined our practice in 1999 and has proven to be an excellent dental assistant. Katie grew up in Bay County and attended Mosley High School and GCCC. She is very proficient in all procedures and strives to keep our patients on time and comfortable. She likes anything to do with the outdoors, especially 4-wheelers and jet skis.

Hygienist
Julie has worked with Dr Kennon for 17 years. She has cut back her days as a hygienist due to other interests but she still comes once a week to treat a devoted group of patients. She received her degree in dental hygiene from GCCC in 1986. Julie and her husband have two daughters. Shopping and going to the beach are her number one stress relievers.

Assistant
Christina is a graduate of Mosley High School‘s Class of 2008. Upon graduation, she interned with Dr. Kennon. She fell in love with the dental field, so that summer she applied for the Gulf Coast Community College Dental Assisting Program. She graduated in 2009 and started working for Dr. Kennon. She enjoys her job and coming to work everyday. |

HOLLY
RECEPTIONIST
Holly has been working in the dental field since 2004. Not only is she a dental assistant she also helps at the front desk with scheduling and helps Debi decipher the mysteries of dental insurance. She is married and has a son born in 2007 which keeps her very busy. In her spare time (haha)loves being a mom and enjoys anything outdoors especially boating and spending time at the beach with her family. |
